A typical Wedding Breakfast at Carreg Cennen Castle.

At Carreg Cennen Castle we are proud to be able to offer a relaxed and obliging atmosphere that lends itself perfectly as a venue for those wanting a wedding reception with an individual edge. Wherever possible we strive to accommodate all requirements, in order to accomplish this we host a maximum of one wedding a weekend from September to June. We hold no functions in July or August, or Bank Holiday weekends. Visitor numbers to the castle being at their peak at these times, making it impossible for us to give the required attention to such an important occasion.

Our Project for 2010 is to replace an existing building on the farm with another Wood framed structure, along the same design lines as the barn, which will enable us to provide a Venue for Wedding Ceremonies as well as the Wedding Breakfast.

These are the initail plans of what we are in the process of here at Carreg Cennen Castle in 2010.
The building will serve as an Visitor information centre on a day to day basis but will be designed so that internal fixtures and fittings can be adapted and the building be used as a Venue for Wedding Ceremonies. The back elevation facing the castle will be glazed with the Castle acting as the backdrop to the ceremony and the western elevation will also be substantailly glazed to appreciate the breathtaking views down the valley as enjoyed so much by our guests in the Barn.

We hope to get the project completed during this summer. Please contact us for any progress updates.
